We were contacted by this client, located in Singapore, because their business got hit pretty heavily by the COVID pandemic. He was seeing a sharp decline in leads for his business that handles installation and maintenance for digital locks, a home security item popular in Asian countries where smart-home solutions are booming. Working with the client, over the course of several months, we managed to more than double the number of monthly leads, with a 58% decrease in cost per lead.
Despite COVID’s threat and lowered buyer intent, we managed to reduce his cost per conversion by 58% and more than double his conversion rate, all this while maintaining the same budget.
This was achieved by a complete redesign of landing pages, new ad copy, and new special deals. We advised the client into developing these deals, mainly for remarketing purposes, to convince non-converting visitors to get in touch with the business. All these actions highlighted the exceptional customer service the client offered. We used the landing pages to properly highlight their unique selling proposition and made sure both the ads and the landing pages reflect the professionalism the client is offering.
Over the course of several months, we managed to get the client’s ads to show in almost all searches of interest for his business. We managed to completely turn around their 2020 year and allow for growth! Their ads showed in almost 90% of searches of interest. Since we got their ads and landing pages to reflect their professionalism and dedication, once the client contacted the business it usually converted. With an ad spend of almost 4700 SGD, they enjoyed conversions valuing over 33000 SGD. This translates into a ROAS of over 7!
Unfortunately, this kind of growth is not always well received by their competitors. We had plenty of frustrated competitors trying to hijack our ads and used the landing pages to express their frustration with our clients’ success. We took this as a compliment! But we’ve also got external click fraud protection software installed to minimize wasted ad spend.
